Description: This investigation finds that transgender prepubescent children (aged 5–12) are not confused about their gender, but instead show patterns of gender cognition consistent with their expressed gender.

Description: This empirical investigation supports the popular notion of gaydar by showing that people can judge others’ sexual orientation based on four types of external characteristics: how people adorn themselves (adornment), how they move (actions), how they sound (acoustics), and how they look (appearance).
