  1. What does Mr. Tom emphasize as his ground rules from day one?
  2. What philosophy of teaching/learning do you think he is utilizing?
  3. How are students responding to the teacher’s philosophy?
  4. Do you feel that you would be comfortable using this “tough love” approach in your future classroom?
