5-1: Compare and contrast types of assessment by their function, frequency, formality, and the types of knowledge/skills being assessed.

5-2: Provide an argument for and against the use of standardized tests, including high stakes accountability assessment. In the argument, provide examples of different types of standardized tests.

5-3: Describe examples in which curriculum based assessment and behavioral observation assessment would be appropriate. Include all forms of observational recording systems.

5-4: Explain how cultural and/or linguistic diversity can impact the use of assessment and how teachers can work toward reducing or eliminating test bias.
