3. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are devastating eating disorders. Based on what you read in the text, discuss the role of the popular media on the prevalence of these disorders? Do you think that the popular media influences the prevalence of the binge eating disorder? Why or why not?

4. Do you feel that your college campus allows for a climate conducive to students developing a substance abuse disorder? If yes, how? In general, do you think society promotes lifestyles that allow for the development of a substance abuse disorder through television, movies, and such? Explain.

5. ADD and ADHD are considered neurodevelopmental disorders. The American Disabilities Act allows students with one of these disorders to have extra time to complete assignments or take tests. Do you feel that such accommodations are necessary or do you feel that these accommodations actually hurt students because future employers will not allow extra time for work?
