- With some mass shootings in the last few years, many people have questioned the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution; Article 2 protects the right to bear arms. What are some reasons for or against repealing this amendment?

- The Constitution guarantees (in the Tenth Amendment) that states retain government authority not explicitly granted to the national government. Known as reserved powers, states provide education, public health, and commerce and organize state elections, police, prisons, and other forms of law enforcement. Based on this, do a situational analysis of the police department in the city that you live in. What do you think are functions of the police, do they provide social services? Do you think the federal government should control the police?
