How does the article support the Learning Objective?  This study uses experimental design to determine in-group and out-group responses to racial comedy.

Summary:  Using experimental design, the authors study in-group and out-group responses to racial comedy. They found that Black participants had a more positive attitude when viewing with in-group members. White viewers did not show differences in their responses between in-group and out-group members.

How does the article support the Learning Objective?  The study uses experimental design to determine gender-based “ownerships” of issues in female-only elections

Summary:  Using experimental design, participants read news articles that showed two females competing for governor, one of whom had masculine traits, one of whom had feminine traits. Both Democrats and Republicans preferred the feminine candidate.
