1. Explain, in your own words, the difference between sex and gender. What is a “gender binary” and how does it influence the expression of gender? Do you think there are more than just two genders? 2. Think about the difference in being a member of the LGBTQIA+ in today’s society versus 60 years ago and describe how you interpret those experiences, respectively. Of course, a lot has changed as far as inclusivity and visibility for individuals that are a sexual minority; however, there is still more progress to be made. Provide specific examples from the text as well as from the article.
