It is not uncommon for people with alcohol and drug abuse issues to have additional challenges and diagnoses.  Describe diagnoses and experiences that may place people at risk in developing alcohol and drug abuse issues. Explain, how it that individual are self-medicating with alcohol and drugs for these diagnoses and experiences.  Develop a treatment plan that helps to address these substance-related disorders, while increasing adaptive coping resources.
