What components are necessary for teaching to be successful? What practices can be used to foster student relationships and communication? Discuss how teachers get to know students and why. Explain what student-centered learning means. How can teachers be responsive to cultural diversity? Define the three types of classroom meetings. What is social competence? How can social skills be assessed? Discuss the instructional strategies that can be used to teach social skills. How would you implement these strategies into your classroom? How can we promote safer schools? Explain the relevance of bullying. What are strategies to address bullying?
