Journal Article Link 3.1: Hemmens, Craig and Andrea Walker (2015). Recent Legal Developments: Criminal Justice Decisions of the United States Supreme Court, 2014 Term. Criminal Justice Review, 1-19.

In this paper we review and analyze the criminal justice-related decisions of the 2014 term of the United States Supreme Court. We also provide a summary of the Court’s voting patterns and opinion authorship. Eighteen of the Court’s 74 decision touched on criminal justice. There were significant decisions in the areas of search and seizure, the confrontation clause, corrections law, and the death penalty.
