Using SPSS to Run Independent Samples t-Tests
This video was created by Chieh-Chen Bowen. This video demonstrates that SPSS calculates statistical outcomes under both equal variance assumed and equal variances not assumed situations in independent samples t-tests. However, only one of these two outcomes can be true. To be an effective user, you need to learn how to choose the right one based on what you have learned on the 5-step hypothesis test for the independent samples t-tests. You also learn new decision rules to judge significance of a test by using the calculated p values associated with the test statistics.

Independent Sample t-test
Illustrates the computation of the t-statistic. Also, shows the process of decision making in hypothesis testing in case independent sample t-test using the computed t-statistic.
