Starting at 4:37, the video discusses the challenges of implementing some of the advances he discusses in developing countries. The video also discusses income inequality, the logistic challenges of providing food and medicine, as well as advances that should improve outcomes.

Description: This a TED talk by Kevin Rudd (former prime minister of Australia) discussing the future of relations between China and the US as well as the effect of both on the world. While this was created in 2015, it is forward looking.

UN Division for Social Policy and Development Youth

Description: The UN Social Policy and Development Youth website emphasizes the work the UN is doing with youth around the world. The UN is prioritizing work on youth for at least two reasons. (1) The youth demographic is large and growing globally and must be addressed. (2) Today’s younger generations (as have younger generations before them) will be asked to face an array of challenges in the coming decades.
