AmGov: Long Story Short provides a perfectly simplified foundation for a successful American Government course. Many American Government textbooks feature pages of outside citations due to the sheer number of current events they need to cover to keep the book as current as possible. In the spirit of only covering core concepts, the author made the choice to omit outside stories or passages that would require external citations or permission from copyright holders. As a result, you won't find a References section in the back of the book.
